The company headquarters were located in New York City, New York, with development and operations locations in Washington, D.C. and Cheshire, Connecticut.

Prior to 1995, Enteractive Inc.'s focus was on the development of titles on a work-for-hire basis. Toward the end of 1994, the company shifted to being a developer and publisher of titles in which they maintained significant ownership interests and distribution rights.

Several acquisitions and mergers are on record for Enteractive, Inc. On July 15, 1996 the company announced a restructuring comprised of a 45% reduction of its Washington DC based development staff and changes in senior management. After the downsizing, Enteractive Inc. employed 31 full-time and part-time persons dedicated to product development, testing and technical support activities. On August 15, 1997, the company sold all of their domestic distribution rights, inventory and certain accounts receivable from its interactive multimedia publishing business to Enteractive Distribution Company LLC, an unrelated company with headquarters in West Hartford, Connecticut. With this sale, Enteractive Inc. left the video gaming industry, formed a new subsidiary (Enteractive Network Solutions Inc., d.b.a.
