Camelot Software Planning

Overview

Camelot Software planning was originally part of Sega, developing Shining Force games. Eventually, they became independent, but still got financing from Sega. Not too long later, Sega broke ties with Camelot, and Sony took over their financing, but as their projects became more expensive, and not very successful, Sony eventually also cut ties with Camelot.

Since 1998, Nintendo has been their financier and Camelot Software Planning has been a second party developer to Nintendo's consoles and to their Game Boy systems.

They are known for their Shining Force series of games and sports games involving other well known Nintendo characters, such as Mario.
